Role Description The Food Technologist at Ancient Roots will work full-time on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborating closely with product development and quality teams. This role involves formulating and improving products based on traditional recipes, conducting laboratory tests, and ensuring alignment with brand standards for natural ingredients and clean-label formulations. The Food Technologist will perform sensory evaluations, monitor quality control parameters,



and document processes in compliance with food safety regulations. Daily responsibilities also include supporting R&D; initiatives, optimizing shelf life without chemical preservatives, coordinating with production for scale-up, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role requires cross-functional communication with procurement, operations, and marketing to ensure product consistency and timely launches.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Food Technology knowledge, including formulation, processing, and an understanding of traditional ingredients and clean-label concepts.
• Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills for food testing, sample preparation, and use of analytical instruments.
