Responsibilities
• Design and ship REST/GraphQL APIs and integrations
• Model data in MongoDB/Postgres; write migrations
• Implement auth, RBAC, payments and queues
• Own uptime, logging and performance of services
• Write tests and API documentation
Requirements
• 2–4 years backend experience (Node.js / Laravel / Python)
• Solid grasp of SQL/NoSQL, caching and queues
• Security-first mindset — input validation, secrets handling
• Experience deploying to cloud (AWS/DO/Vercel)
