About The Role
We are seeking a Memory Controller Silicon Validation Engineer for the silicon validation of memory controllers and subsystems at the full-system level, from pre-silicon environments through first-silicon bring-up and post-silicon qualification.
What You'll Achieve
• Participate in silicon bring-up of memory controllers, including board power-on, clocks, resets, boot flow, JTAG access, and firmware initialization
• Developing and executing validation plans, firmware- and software-based tests,
and system-level workloads to verify controller functionality, initialization, training, data integrity, performance, power management, reliability, and error handling
• Creating test content and low-level firmware using C, Python, and other scripting languages, if suitable
• Validating controller features including ECC, error injection, refresh, scrambling, encryption, address mapping, interleaving, arbitration, and low-power states
• Measuring and optimizing memory bandwidth, latency, timing, calibration, and performance across supported configurations
• Execute stress and corner testing across voltage, frequency, temperature, workloads, and memory configurations
• Debugging issues, correlate results between pre-silicon and silicon, and drive controller validation through product qualification and production readiness
• Building automation for test execution, regression tracking, result analysis, and failure triage
