VIT Chennai invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor from passionate academicians with a solid commitment to teaching, research, and student development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver effective classroom presentations and provide laboratory instruction.
- Develop learning resources, instructional materials, and laboratory facilities.
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations, including university examination-related activities.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Guide and counsel students, supporting their personal, ethical, moral, and overall character development.
- Engage in research and development activities and provide research guidance to students.
- Promote industryinstitution interaction, research collaborations, and R&D; initiatives.
- Strengthen industrial connectivity and facilitate interactions with industry and society.




- Participate in community service and extension activities.
- Provide R&D; support and consultancy services to industries and other relevant agencies.
- Develop and deliver non-formal education initiatives for community benefit.
- Promote entrepreneurship and participate in job rotation activities, as required.
- Contribute to knowledge dissemination and provide technical support in areas of social relevance.
- Undertake any other relevant academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Dean of the respective school.

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. from a reputed university, with a strong research background and project experience.

Experience: 0 - 12 years.
