Role & responsibilities :
- Draft complete PCA reports per ASTM E2018 from field forms, photos, and site notes, including system descriptions, observed conditions, and immediate and replacement reserve cost tables.
- Draft Phase I ESA reports per ASTM E1527-21, including review of regulatory database reports, historical aerials, Sanborn maps, city directories, and topographic maps
- Research municipal records online (e.g., building permits, zoning, code violations, and flood zones).
- Revise drafts based on reviewer comments and meet agreed turnaround times.
Preferred candidate profile :
- 2+ years writing PCA and/or Phase I ESA reports
- Working knowledge of ASTM E2018 and E1527-21
- Excellent written English and solid Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Familiarity with US building systems (e.g., roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and paving) and cost-estimating sources such as RSMeans.
