Role Overview
Looking for a commercially sharp AM Planning & Buying to manage material planning, China procurement and Stores operations for our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Material planning & procurement from China vendors
- Demand/purchase planning, inventory control & material availability
- Vendor follow-up, lead-time & import coordination
- Manage Stores operations, stock accuracy, FIFO/FEFO & material movement
- Monitor MRP, stock levels, shortages & excess inventory
- Coordinate with Production, NPD, Quality & Supply Chain
- Drive cost optimization and timely material availability
Requirements
- 7–10 years in Procurement / Material Planning / Buying / Stores
- Experience in China/international procurement preferred
- Strong manufacturing & Stores exposure
- Analytical, commercially sharp and high ownership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
