- Strong ability to produce High Level Design / Low Level Design / Minimum Viable Design / Design Options documentation
- Positive to strong understanding of / experience with SAP-based products / ABAP / NetWeaver
- Good to strong understanding of traditional DC and private cloud hosting infrastructure/ environments/ networking (inc. security & resilience)
- Fair to good understanding of public cloud hosting infrastructure/ environments/ patterns (inc. security & resilience)
- Strong understanding of architecture & design governance
- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technology systems
- Business product and context fluency vis-a-vis corporate banking and payments products/services
- Working understanding of Atlassian tool suite (Confluence / Jira)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure work environments that are accountable for the design of CATA (IBS) applications
- Team player with good interpersonal skills to cover:
- Fostering collaboration
- Managing stakeholder expectations
- Providing leadership amongst our engineers to secure the best design outcomes
