Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Operation and monitoring of Effluent Treatment Plant and waste disposal operations.

2. Maintaining logs of ETP.

3. Maintain documents for waste generation and Disposal for Hazardous waste, E waste, Battery waste and Biomedical Waste on timely manner.

4. Maintain disposal records including manifests for Hazardous wastes.

5. Ensure compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

6. Issuance of work permit & governance.

Daily checking of EHS equipment's such as Fire hydrant system, Fire extinguishers, Fire alarm, public address system, deluge system, gas-based fire suppression system, Eye wash showers, SCBA and Other Safety equipment`s etc.

8. Assist in Safety Committee Meetings, Mock drills etc.

9. Preparation of daily and monthly reports/records (documentation).

10. SAP related support PO, service entry, work order, gate pass.

11. Ensure to provide required PPE and follow safe working procedures at workplace.

12. To support Department Head in achieving all the elements of Setting Health & Safety policy in the site.

13. To support the EHS department in the implementation of EHS management systems in the plant & ensure to follow all applicable statutory requirements related to Departments.

Qualification and Experience:

1. Graduate in Science with Chemistry / Postgraduate in Environmental Science and Diploma in Industrial Safety approved by state technical board

2. 3 to 5 years in the EHS Pharmaceutical Industry
