To prepare & carry out lifting & rigging related intervention among site personnel & conduct awareness programs to sustain an accident-free site related to lifting & rigging.
- Review and approve lift plan, Method statement and HIRA
- Provide necessary support to prepare lifting operations SOP
- Review and random clearance for lifting permit and lift plans by daily basis
- Monitoring the critical lifts for secure execution
- Deliver / witness tool box talk at project sites
- Necessary review and support for basic, intermediate & critical lifting activities
- Inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories as per monthly activity plan
- Review and ensure maintaining of lifting equipment register
- Monitor adherence to schedule for inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories
- Implement colour coding system/Fitness sticker for lifting equipment and tools and tackles
- Prepare training materials (Site based) if required
- Impart training for lifting team. i.e., slinger, signaler, lifting supervisor, crane operator)
- Impart class room & Practical training for lifting team
- Participate in High risk Focus meeting and raise high severity points related to Lifting and rigging which observed during the week.
- Provide inputs to management on strengthening the system to manage lifting and rigging activities.
To prepare and submit weekly/Monthly MIS to Project Safety manager
