Roles & Responsibilities

* Supervise and monitor electrical works at the construction/project site

* Execute electrical installations as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements

* Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and specifications

* Supervise installation of LT panels, DBs, cables, conduits, lighting, earthing, and power distribution systems

* Monitor electrical wiring, cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning

* Coordinate with contractors, electricians, consultants, civil engineers, and other site teams

* Conduct regular site inspections and identify electrical issues, deviations, and defects

* Inspect electrical materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards

* Coordinate with the project team to resolve technical and site-related electrical issues

* Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of electrical works

* Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain electrical work documentation

* Coordinate with civil, plumbing, HVAC, and other services to avoid site clashes





* Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems before project handover

* Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and applicable codes

* Monitor site work quality, manpower, materials, and overall electrical work progress

Qualifications

* B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

* Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Construction / MEP Projects

* Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and construction practices

* Good knowledge of LT panels, DBs, cables, lighting, earthing, power distribution, and electrical equipment

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and layouts

* Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures

* Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office

* Valuable communication, coordination, and leadership skills

* Strong site supervision, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
