Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Technology team member who will primarily support and monitor our payment products and transaction-processing systems.
The role requires strong ownership, continuous monitoring of applications and transactions, quick identification of issues, and coordination with relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor payment products, applications, transaction flows, alerts, and system health.
- Investigate and debug issues across applications, APIs, logs, databases, and microservices.
- Take ownership of production issues, coordinate with relevant teams, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor failures, identify root causes, perform basic fixes, and escalate critical issues when required.
- Support payment systems in rotational shifts with proper incident tracking and shift handover.
- Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end payment transaction processing.
Required Skills
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Basic programming knowledge.
- Basic understanding of Node.js / JavaScript.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Good to Have
- Exposure to AWS / Cloud services.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Git/version control.
- Basic knowledge of payment processing, payment gateways, switches, card transactions, or transaction lifecycle.
Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
