Intensiv-Filter Himenviro (IFH) is a clean-air technology company with more than 100 years of filtration expertise, dating back to 1922. We design, manufacture, install and service industrial air pollution control equipment, including bag filters, reverse air baghouses, electrostatic precipitators and hybrid filters, for cement, steel, power, chemical, food and other process industries, with teams in India and Germany and customers worldwide.

About the role

You will lead the plant that fabricates IFH's air pollution control equipment. Manufacturing here is project-based: each order has its own drawings, bill of materials and dispatch commitment linked to a customer's site schedule. You will have end-to-end responsibility for production, planning, stores, maintenance, cost, quality, safety and people, and for getting complete, correct equipment dispatched on time.

Key responsibilities

Lead day-to-day plant operations and deliver production in line with project schedules and customer commitments.

Run production planning for project-based fabrication: confirm drawings, BOMs and material are available before work starts, and track planned versus actual progress project by project.

Ensure timely and complete dispatch of equipment, components and fabricated items, and flag delays early.

Lead sheet-metal and fabrication operations, including CNC / laser cutting, bending, welding and assembly, and optimise machine loading and production sequencing.

Improve productivity, capacity utilisation and manufacturing cost; reduce rework, rejection and idle time.





Work with Quality to build inspection checkpoints into each manufacturing stage and reduce customer complaints.

Maintain a safe plant and ensure compliance with safety, statutory and environmental requirements.

Coordinate with Purchase on production-critical materials, vendor development and outsourced fabrication.

Ensure accurate inventory, material traceability and smooth flow from stores through production and quality to dispatch.

Ensure preventive maintenance and minimise machine breakdowns and unplanned downtime.

Drive use of ERP and accurate plant MIS, and present performance and improvement plans to senior management.

Lead and develop the production, planning, stores and maintenance teams, and build capable supervisors with clear accountability.

What success looks like

Project equipment leaves the plant complete and on the committed date.

Rework, rejection and site complaints traceable to manufacturing come down.

Manufacturing cost and productivity are measured, understood and improving.

The plant runs safely on plans, data and capable supervisors, not on daily firefighting.

What you bring

Essential

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.

10-18 years in manufacturing operations,



including plant or production leadership.

Experience managing fabrication, sheet-metal or industrial equipment manufacturing.

Strong grounding in production planning for project-based manufacturing, and in cost, productivity, quality and delivery management.

Hands-on ERP use and strong Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting skills.

Experience leading cross-functional teams, and a habit of building systems rather than depending on individuals.

Preferred

Experience in pollution control equipment (bag filters, dust collectors, ESPs), heavy engineering, EPC or process-industry equipment manufacturing.

Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma or 5S experience.

Experience managing large vendor networks and outsourced manufacturing.

Exposure to international quality standards and overseas customers.
