Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize the Power BI setting across the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, gateway management, workspace governance, security implementation, capacity monitoring, and user support.

Responsibilities

- Administer and manage the Power BI Service environment.
- Configure and maintain On-Premises Data Gateways.
- Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, dashboards, and dataflows.
- Implement governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Configure and manage Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Monitor Power BI Premium capacities and optimize performance.
- Manage user access, licensing, and permission controls.
- Troubleshoot report refresh failures, gateway issues, and connectivity problems.
- Monitor system health and usage through Power BI Admin Portal.
- Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain deployment pipelines and support release management activities.




- Create operational documentation, administration guides, and best practices.

Technical Requirements

- Strong experience with Power BI Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Premium Capacity.
- Experience with Power BI Gateway Installation and Management.
- Knowledge of Workspace Administration and Governance.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and security management.
- Understanding of DAX, Data Modeling, and Power Query.
- Experience in managing Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Knowledge of Power BI REST APIs and automation.
- Experience with monitoring, auditing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases.
