Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support ServiceNow ITOM Event Management solutions.
- Configure Event Management, Alert Correlation, Alert Aggregation, and Event Rules to reduce noise and improve operational visibility.
- Integrate monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, SCOM, and Nagios with ServiceNow Event Management.
- Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and Service Mapping solutions.
- Ensure accurate population and maintenance of CMDB data through Discovery and integration processes.
- Develop custom event processing rules, transform maps, scripts, and automation workflows.
- Implement automated incident creation, alert enrichment, and remediation workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Troubleshoot event ingestion, alert correlation, CMDB, and integration-related issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and operations teams to improve monitoring and service visibility.




- Perform root cause analysis of recurring incidents and recommend proactive monitoring solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, patches, and current feature implementations within the ITOM suite.
- Create dashboards, reports, and operational metrics to track event management effectiveness.
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Follow ITIL best practices for Event, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
