We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Commodity Trader with 5 to 9 years of experience specializing in the physical trading of spice commodities, with expertise in market analysis, sourcing, procurement, and import-export operations across PAN India and international markets.

Role & responsibilities

- Manage and execute physical commodity trades efficiently across PAN India and international markets, ensuring timely transactions and smooth trade execution.
- Analyze trade data, market trends, pricing, and trading performance to generate insights and optimize future trading decisions.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with domestic and international suppliers, buyers, importers, exporters, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies to maximize profitability and expand business opportunities in domestic and global spice markets.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, price fluctuations, supply-demand trends, and new business prospects across PAN India and international markets.
- Identify and develop new suppliers, buyers,



and distribution channels to strengthen the company's domestic and international trading network.
- Coordinate end-to-end import-export operations, including negotiations, trade documentation, logistics, shipment coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor commodity market developments, competitor activities, and global price movements to support informed trading decisions.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, import-export policies, international trade regulations, and industry developments affecting commodity trading.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, finance, and quality control teams to ensure efficient execution of domestic and international commodity trades.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust understanding of import-export regulations and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity trading, preferably in spice commodities.
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics, pricing, and trading principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in trading software and systems.
