Role Overview

You will handle the whole sales cycle: finding leads, meeting clients, understanding what they need, preparing technical and commercial proposals, negotiating, and closing orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Find and build leads among builders, architects, consultants, PMCs, facility managers and industrial clients
- Meet customers on site and at their offices to understand project needs
- Read drawings and BOQs, and work with the technical team on solutions
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender documents
- Negotiate prices and terms, follow up on proposals, and close deals
- Build long-term client relationships and win repeat business
- Track enquiries, follow-ups and the sales pipeline, and send regular reports to management
- Keep up with market trends, competitors and relevant codes (NBC, IS standards, NFPA)
- Coordinate with the execution team so projects hand over smoothly after the order is won.

Requirements

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical,



Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- 26 years of sales or business development experience in civil, MEP, fire alarm or fire fighting projects
- Good knowledge of fire detection systems (addressable and conventional fire alarms, smoke and heat detectors, panels) and/or civil works
- Experience preparing proposals, estimates and BOQs
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- A proven record of meeting sales targets and closing deals
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel locally to meet clients
- A two-wheeler or four-wheeler and a valid driving licence (preferred)
