VIT Chennai invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor from passionate academicians with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and student development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver effective classroom lectures and provide laboratory instruction.
- Develop teaching materials, learning resources, and laboratory facilities.
- Conduct student assessments, evaluations, and university examination-related activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic, personal, ethical, and professional development.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Engage in research and development activities, publish research work, and guide students in research.




- Establish and strengthen industry–institution collaborations and research partnerships.
- Provide consultancy services and technical support to industries and other relevant agencies.
- Participate in community services, extension activities, and knowledge dissemination.
- Promote entrepreneurship and industry interaction.
- Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Dean of the respective school.

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. from a reputed university, with a solid research background and project experience.

Experience: 0–12 years.
