Desired profile:

- Qualification - Ph. D / Msc / Bsc in organic chemistry from reputed university.
- For Phd 10 Years, for Msc/Bsc 15 to 20 Years of experience is required. (Prior experience in pigment is mandatory)
- Hard core R & D experience (9-11 yrs) in synthesizing and developing new products (preferable from dye and pigment) from lab to pilot scale to production.

Job Responsibilities:

- Generate new ideas/thoughts by designing novel synthetic routes for scale up/process optimization/development.
- Modification/ improvement in existing products/processes as per customer needs and marketing departmental requirements.
- Familiar with RMC sheet and volume time cycle (working on alternatives or new raw materials)
- Close co-ordination with Engineers in technologies transfer, developing alternative raw materials, developing new products/processes




- Sound knowledge of Structural elucidation & interpretation of spectra using NMR, IR, HPLC, GC, MASS Spectra
- Involved in the creation of current product concepts based on customer needs in Pigment Industry.
- Synthesis of Intermediates required for High performance pigment.
- Setting up, calibrating, operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory and/or field research equipment as specified by the requirements of the research study.
- Process scale-up in co-ordination with Process Development and Engineering in Pigment Industry
- Coordinate with other department for achieving company target for production.
