Job Description

We are looking for a Japanese Interpreter to facilitate communication between Japanese-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals. The candidate will provide language interpretation support and assist Japanese patients in navigating medical services and related administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Japanese-English interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist Japanese-speaking patients during medical consultations and healthcare-related interactions.
- Support communication regarding medical procedures, treatment plans, and healthcare services.
- Assist with health insurance claims and related administrative communication, wherever required.




- Ensure accurate and clear interpretation while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Understand Japanese culture and customs to provide culturally appropriate support.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for Japanese patients.

Required Skills

- Fluency in Japanese and English, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Japanese culture, customs, and professional etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in interpretation.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word and Excel.
- Prior experience in interpretation or translation will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate or postgraduate in any relevant discipline.
- Certification in an advanced Japanese language course.
- Candidates with JLPT N2 or N3 certification, or those currently pursuing N2, are eligible to apply.
