Roles and Responsibilities :

- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes to patient records based on diagnosis, procedure, and other relevant information.
- Review medical documentation such as clinical notes, lab results, and radiology reports to determine code assignments.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations to maintain high-quality coding standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies or questions related to coding.

Job Requirements :

- 3-6 years of experience in IPDRG (International Provider Data Record Group) coding or CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) certification.
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in assigning accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes using electronic health record systems.
