Role & responsibilities :
- Plan and execute daily/weekly production activities as per the production schedule for Conventional Machine Shop (Lathe, Milling, Boring machines)
- Allocate jobs, machines, and operators according to priorities and skill levels.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower utilization, and shop-floor productivity.
- Monitor cycle times, setup times, rejection, rework, and production losses.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments to resolve production issues.
- Ensure proper handling, identification, and movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished components
Preferred candidate profile :
1. Having positive knowledge and hands on experience of Manual Lathe machine operating & cutting tools
2. Residence of Hooghly/Howrah/Kolkata/Kharagpur/Durgapur nearest industrial zone.
