About the Role

Seven Seas Strategies is looking for a Vue.js-focused Full Stack Developer to build and enhance a cloud-based SaaS platform serving the healthcare and clinical laboratory industry. The primary focus of this role is developing responsive, reliable, and maintainable front-end experiences using Vue.js, while also contributing to backend APIs and cloud services built with ASP.NET Core and Azure.

The ideal candidate has practical experience building production applications with Vue.js, creating reusable components, managing application state, integrating REST APIs, and improving performance and usability. Experience with .NET, Azure, databases, and secure multi-tenant applications is also significant. The platform operates in a healthcare environment where data accuracy, reliability, and security are essential.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Vue.js & Front-End Development

- Develop, enhance, and maintain production user interfaces using Vue.js; Vue.js experience is a core requirement for this role.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable Vue components and establish consistent front-end coding practices.
- Use JavaScript (ES6+) and, where applicable, TypeScript to implement interactive and data-driven user experiences.
- Manage component data, application state, routing, forms, and validation using suitable Vue ecosystem tools.
- Integrate front-end features with RESTful APIs and handle loading states, errors, and asynchronous operations reliably.
- Create responsive, accessible interfaces with strong HTML and CSS fundamentals and cross-browser compatibility.
- Identify and resolve UI defects; improve rendering performance, maintainability, and overall user experience.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests for front-end functionality using tools such as Vitest, Jest, or Cypress.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and healthcare-domain stakeholders to translate requirements into effective workflows.




- Use Git and standard code-review practices to maintain code quality and support team collaboration.
- Backend & API Development

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core / .NET, hosted on Azure App Service.
- Build and extend Azure Function Apps for background processing, report generation, email delivery, and message-queue consumers.
- Design and maintain database schemas, migrations, and data-access logic using Entity Framework Core and Azure SQL.
- Integrate the application with third-party systems and external interfaces as required.
- Implement secure file-storage workflows using Azure Blob Storage.
- Apply authentication, authorization, session-management, and data-protection practices across a multi-tenant application.
- Cloud, Delivery & Collaboration

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, releases, and deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Work with relevant Azure services, including App Service, Function Apps, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Storage Queues, and Azure Front Door/CDN.
- Support troubleshooting, production issue resolution, and continuous improvement across the application stack.
- Follow secure development practices appropriate for sensitive healthcare data and regulated environments.
- Skills & Qualifications

Required — Vue.js & Front End

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing web applications with Vue.js in a professional or production project environment.
- Strong understanding of Vue fundamentals, including components, props, events, reactivity, lifecycle hooks, and Composition API and/or Options API.
- Experience with Vue Router and state management using Pinia, Vuex, or an equivalent approach.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) skills and solid HTML5 and CSS3 fundamentals.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous data, forms,



validation, and API errors.
- Experience with NPM and front-end build tooling such as Vite or Webpack.
- Familiarity with front-end testing using Vitest, Jest, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency with Git, debugging, code reviews, and maintainable coding practices.
- Required — Backend & Database

- Minimum 4 years of experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (through .NET 8 or equivalent relevant versions).
- Minimum 2 years of experience building or maintaining Web APIs hosted on Azure App Service.
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, including migrations, schema design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure SQL, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, session management, and security in multi-tenant applications.
- Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.

- Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Exposure to HL7, EMR, or LIS integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of automated testing and monitoring for production applications.
