Support Engineer - Internet Monitoring System (IMS)

Location

Recent Delhi, Bangalore

(Candidate need to travel to ISP sites as per work requirements)

Qualification

BE/B.Tech/MCA or Equivalent Qualification preferably in ECE/IT/Computer Science

OR

DIPLOMA or Equivalent Qualification preferably in ECE/IT/ Computers

Experience

- 1 to 3 Years for Degree
- 4 to 6 Years for Diploma

Roles and responsibilities

IMS roll-out and support: Deployment of IMS system at ISP gateways, day to day support to LEAs, troubleshooting issues

Job Requirements

- Experience in securing and working with different operating systems like Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu Linux.
- System administration of Linux operating system
- Knowledge of OSI Layer and TCP/IP networking
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting Server hardware problems.
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows & UNIX /Linux based software
- Understanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, etc.
- Working experience with IT infrastructure (physical servers, Network Switch,



Hardware Load Balancer etc.)
- Experience and familiarity with information security tools and concepts.
- Network troubleshooting experience - Familiarity with tools such as Ping, Traceroute, MTR, and Network Protocol Analysers such as tcpdump, Wireshark, etc.
- Able to assess, analyse, customize, automate and troubleshoot with any tools, opensource software, commercial software, etc. for organizational requirements.
- Excellent oral/written communication and documentation skills,
- Able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
- Candidate should be willing to travel anywhere in India for support activities. Should be able to provide requisite support to LEAs, ISP for deployment of C-DOT IMS solution.
- Open to learn new technologies
- Place of posting would be Delhi / Bangalore

Certification

Any certifications in System Administration and Networking shall be an advantage.
