Beauty Editor with 5+ years of experience in beauty journalism, editorial content, luxury publishing or digital beauty media. The role will lead beauty content across print, digital, social media, video and events, covering premium and luxury skincare, make-up, haircare, fragrance and wellness. The candidate will be responsible for beauty editorial strategy, writing, commissioning, product testing, beauty shoots, trend coverage and industry relationships.

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Beauty Editor to lead beauty coverage for a premium lifestyle media brand. The role will work closely with the editorial and creative teams to develop a strong and distinctive beauty voice across print, digital, social media, video and events.

The Beauty Editor will identify beauty trends, products, innovations, experts and emerging brands, with a strong focus on the premium and luxury beauty market. Responsibilities include planning the beauty editorial calendar, pitching and writing stories, commissioning content, conducting interviews, reviewing products and developing trend, how-to, ingredient and expert-led features.

The role will also conceptualise and execute beauty shoots, celebrity beauty features, product stories and special projects, working with photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists, celebrities, models, producers and other creative partners.

The candidate should have strong relationships with beauty brands, founders, PR agencies, dermatologists, make-up artists, hair experts, fragrance specialists and industry professionals.



They will also contribute to launches, events, beauty initiatives and digital-first content such as reels, tutorials, interviews and videos.

Strong editorial judgement, visual sensibility, product knowledge, writing ability and understanding of beauty ingredients and claims are essential. The candidate must maintain editorial integrity while managing product samples, testing and brand relationships.

Profile Description :

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Beauty Editorial, Beauty Journalism, Beauty Content, Digital Beauty Media or Luxury Publishing.
- Strong knowledge of skincare, make-up, haircare, fragrance and wellness.
- Positive understanding of the premium and luxury beauty market, especially the Indian beauty ecosystem.
- Proven experience in beauty writing, commissioning, product reviews and trend reporting.
- Experience in beauty shoots, celebrity beauty stories and editorial portfolios.
- Strong network across beauty brands, PR agencies, founders, dermatologists, make-up artists, hair stylists and beauty experts.
- Experience creating digital, social media, video, reels and digital-first beauty content.
- Strong visual judgement and understanding of beauty storytelling.
- Knowledge of beauty ingredients, product claims and terminology.
- Strong editorial integrity and attention to accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-management skills.
- A strong published beauty portfolio is essential.
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, Fashion, English, Beauty or a related field preferred.
