Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution, coordination, and delivery of MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting) works for industrial construction projects.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, material procurement, and contractor activities to achieve project milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, PMC teams, architects, design consultants, civil contractors, and MEPF vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and coordinate MEPF GFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and material submittals before execution.
- Supervise installation and execution of electrical systems, HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable trays, underground cabling, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Monitor HVAC systems, ventilation, plumbing, water supply, drainage, sewage treatment, water treatment, and industrial utility installations.
- Coordinate fire-fighting systems, fire hydrants, sprinklers, fire pumps, fire alarm systems, and associated safety requirements.
- Ensure proper coordination of MEPF services with civil, structural, PEB, and architectural works to avoid clashes, rework, and delays.
- Monitor contractor performance, site progress, quality of workmanship, testing, commissioning, and system handover.
- Review contractor RA bills, measurements, BOQ quantities, variation claims, and material consumption in coordination with the billing team.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, statutory requirements, and client standards.
- Implement QA/QC procedures,
inspection and test plans, checklists, and method statements for all MEPF activities.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and closure of snags before final handover.
- Prepare and review Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), material trackers, and project status reports.
- Identify execution risks, resolve technical issues, track pending approvals, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure site safety compliance, including electrical safety, work-at-height precautions, permit-to-work procedures, and safe handling of equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation, including approved drawings, inspection reports, test certificates, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, and handover records.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; relevant specialization in MEPF is preferred.
- 510 years of relevant experience in MEPF execution, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, factory, warehouse, or large commercial projects.
- Experience in managing MEPF works at industrial project sites, including coordination with civil and structural teams.
- Solid technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC,
plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting systems, and industrial utilities.
- Experience with HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable routing, earthing, lighting, and power distribution systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of fire hydrant and sprinkler systems, fire pumps, HVAC equipment, water supply, and drainage networks.
- Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and single-line diagrams.
- Knowledge of material planning, vendor coordination, contractor billing, quantity verification, and cost control.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, testing and commissioning, safety procedures, and applicable statutory standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting tools; experience with MS Project or Primavera is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Willingness to work at the project site in Halol, Gujarat.
