Job Summary

Working as part of the global Regulatory Governance and Reporting team, the role will manage Regulatory Reporting obligations for PayPal Licensed entities

Essential Responsibilities

- Lead complex projects related to the administration of legal entities and corporate structures.
- Resolve complex problems by applying functional expertise and understanding current business trends.
- Develop methods and procedures for new assignments to improve global processes.
- Provide valuable insights on corporate governance and compliance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on entity management strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

- 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications

- Manage and prepare accurate and timely regulatory reporting for PayPal licensed entities in compliance with financial regulation as prescribed by legislation and published Circulars, including financial, prudential, statistical and credit reports.
- Monitor, forecast and publish relevant internal regulatory metrics, primarily related to Safeguarding, Liquidity and Capital of licensed entities.
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Regulatory Reporting professionals executing to a high standard and supporting their career development.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders including Regulatory Reporting Leadership, Finance Controllership, Finance Systems Leads, Data Technology, Treasury, Product, Compliance, Risk and Credit teams.
- Support integration of regulatory reporting changes originating from new regulation and new products.
- Support M&A; integrations for PayPal licensed entities.
- Continuously validate existing reporting obligations with regulation and related data requirements.




- Manage the end-to-end data process to complete timely report production utilizing dedicated regulatory reporting applications and automation including AI.
- Ensure data integrity and controls with reconciliations to source systems and against financial accounts. Resolve any exceptions through process improvements and holding data providers accountable for data quality.
- Monitor the development of new regulations to ensure advance awareness and preparatory tasks are undertaken early to implement foreseen changes; Liaise with Compliance, Legal and RGR leadership regarding current obligations.
- Strive to create efficiencies in processes, in particular focusing on risk reduction through prioritizing automation and maximizing the use of AI technologies.
- Review and manage detailed standard operating procedures and checklists focusing heavily on prescribed internal controls throughout.
- Prepare and present periodic updates to Finance Leadership.
- Challenge, resolve and communicate any issues to internal stakeholders, whilst adhering to the Enterprise Issue Management Policy
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors ensuring all requests and any issues are addressed timely and accurately.
- Assist the Global Regulatory Reporting and Governance team when required.

Requirements

- 8 years + experience in Financial Institution and regulated business including payments/fintech/banking.
- Strong interpersonal skills including coaching,



mentoring and developing team members.
- High level of expertise in sourcing, interrogating and manipulating data in various forms/code from multiple systems/platforms.
- High level of expertise in process automation and integration of AI technologies
- Technical knowledge dealing with multiple data systems and regulatory reporting applications, including experience with SAP.
- Keen analytical and problem-solving experience with a strong focus on quality assurance of output.
- Experience in and ability to interpret EBA banking, payments and credit regulations relevant to UK, EU and globally is mandatory.
- Ability to interpret EU and APAC financial regulation and apply to associated report development.
- Familiarity with local and international accounting standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English mandatory.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of personal accountability, integrity and trust.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross functional and remote teams.
- Ability to create and maintain a balanced, positive work environment for direct reports and the broader Regulatory team.
- Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Support regulatory reporting activities across regions as business needs evolve.
- Ability to escalate issues and seek guidance as required.
