Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

- Develop detailed designs for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other systems as required.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Management:

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical designs with overall project plans.
- Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to subcontractors and on-site personnel.

Installation and Maintenance:

- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems.

Quality Assurance and Control:





- Perform quality control checks on all mechanical systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems during construction and post-construction phases.
- Conduct performance tests and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of designs, installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, system performance, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Health and Safety:

- Ensure all mechanical engineering activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety in office and conduct regular safety audits.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards in India
