Pollinate Group works with a growing network of students, young professionals, universities and corporate partners who want to learn from, contribute to and support our work. The Engagement & Partnerships Associate will help make this happen.
This is a people-facing, highly organised and hands-on role. You will coordinate experiences, build relationships with students and professionals, support university and India CSR partnerships, and spend time understanding how our programmes work in the field. If you enjoy bringing people together, organising programmes, building relationships and turning what you learn into action, this could be a good fit for you.
What You Will Do
1. Build the Engagement Community
- Build relationships with students, alumni, young professionals and volunteers.
- Be a key point of contact for participants before, during and after their experience with Pollinate Group.
- Create opportunities for alumni and professionals to contribute through volunteering, mentorship, research, skills-based support, fundraising and events.
- Organise talks, workshops, networking sessions and other engagement activities.
- Build and maintain an active Student alumni and professional network.
- Collect stories, feedback and testimonials that help communicate the participant experience.
2. Coordinate & Grow the Active Program
- Coordinate the end-to-end experience with students and university partners.
- Support applications, onboarding, documentation, scheduling and programme logistics.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, meals, workspace, field visits and learning activities.
- Work with internal mentors and teams to support student projects and deliverables.
- Ensure collect meaningful field stories, photographs, research and other outputs.
- Maintain relationships with university partners and explore opportunities for future cohorts.
- Contribute to improving and developing new formats and partnerships.
3. Support India CSR & Partnerships
- Research companies, CSR programmes and corporate foundations aligned with Pollinate Group's work.
- Identify relevant CSR, sustainability and ESG contacts.
- Support outreach, introductory meetings and follow-ups with potential partners.
- Prepare company research, briefing notes, concept notes, proposals and presentations.
- Maintain an organised CSR and partnership pipeline and track next steps.
- Explore opportunities for employee volunteering, skills-based engagement and other forms of corporate partnership.
- Support relationship management with existing corporate partners.
Who We Are Looking For
Education & Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 12 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with strong internship, volunteering or programme experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: social impact, university partnerships, community engagement, communications, events, research,programme coordination.
Skills & Attributes
- Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Fluent Kannada and comfortable communicating with communities and field teams.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong communication, research and coordination skills.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets and digital collaboration tools.
- Curious, proactive and willing to learn from the field.
- Comfortable travelling for activities, partner meetings and field visits.
