Your key responsibilities
- Calibration and maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Maintain and repair control valves, analyzers, weighing systems, pneumatic instruments, and process control equipment.
- Support PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems by carrying out loop checking, I/O testing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Execute installation, commissioning, and modification of instrumentation and control systems.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of instrumentation failures to minimize process downtime.
- Maintain calibration records, instrument history, loop diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, GMP, and quality standards.
- Reading and interpreting PIDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Basic understanding of VFDs, motors, MCCs,
and industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Compliance Safety Skills
- Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, and electrical safety practices.
- Calibration compliance as per GMP, ISO, FSSAI, FDA, or other applicable standards.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification and intrinsically protected instruments.
- Participation in audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
You bring
- ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Familiar with safety protocols and standards.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
