Role: Site Legal Manager
Lead and manage the legal and land acquisition activities for projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, risk mitigation, and timely completion of processes to support seamless project development.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead land acquisition activities, including identification, negotiation, and finalization of land parcels. Conduct due diligence on land titles and prepare comprehensive Land Due Diligence Reports (DDR).
- Draft, review, and finalise legal contracts and agreements, including sale deeds, lease agreements, and MOUs. Ensure all contracts align with company policies and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national laws governing land transactions and project development.
- Collaborate with government authorities, financial institutions, and legal consultants to resolve land-related issues.
- Address and resolve land-related legal disputes, mitigating risks and safeguarding the company's interests.
- Maintain and monitor records of DDR, legal contracts, and land documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide periodic updates to project heads on land legal matters and compliance status."
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with land acquisitions and project development
- Oversee registrations, property transfers, and filings in accordance with the Registration Act and other relevant statutes.
- Manage relationships with land aggregators, vendors,
and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Possesses the authority to draft and approve legal contracts and agreements, such as sale deeds and MOUs, ensuring they comply with company standards
- Primary point of contact for legal matters with government authorities and external consultants
- To oversee and maintain all official land titles, legal contracts, and documentation, ensuring their integrity and proper filing.

Qualification:
Bachelors degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
Certifications or specialization in land laws, property regulations, or project management are an added advantage.
Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in land acquisition, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance for large-scale projects.
