Job title: Quality Control Officer
Location: Taloja
Role overview
As a Quality Control Officer, you will help drive our goals by:
- Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials, in process and finished products.
- Conduct analysis using techniques such as ICP, pH meter, conductivity meter etc.
- Record test data accurately. Update in SAP after review.
- Maintain proper documentation as per GMP, ISO and internal SOP s.
- Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical instruments, Identify report any non-conformance or OOS results.
- Raise NCPR on time.
- Adhere to GLP, safety protocols and data integrity standards.
- Follow IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 OHSAS 18000) guidelines. Maintaining review of SOP s, records.
- Aware of IMS Policy, QEHS Objectives, environmental aspects and OHS hazards related to own area of work and the available control measures against it.
- Understand and comply with applicable Environment, Health and Safety,
Process safety risk management policies and procedures
- Understand and comply with Chemical storage, compatibility and handling hazards, Safety Data sheets and exposure.
Key Skills
- Solid technical expertise in analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Good understanding of regulatory and quality requirements (ISO)
- Exposure to ERP - SAP system
- Reasonably good written and verbal communication
- Computer proficiency in excel / word.
Required Qualification and Experience
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in chemistry
- Minimum 3 Years of experience in a chemical /pharmaceutical QC laboratory
