JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: BD & OPERATION

Job Details

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Energy Management, or MBA in Power Management.

Minimum Experience: 03 Years to 15 Years in relevant Field.

CTC: Best as per industry Standard.

Job Location: Delhi-NCR / Lucknow / Agra.

1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the power trading market.

Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, DISCOMs, generators, and industrial consumers.

Conduct market research and analyze demand-supply trends in electricity markets.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial bids.

Achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

2. OPERATIONS

Coordinate day-to-day power trading operations (short-term and long-term contracts).

Schedule power transactions through power exchanges like Indian Energy Exchange and Power Exchange India Limited.

Ensure timely submission of bids and schedules.

Monitor real-time power flow and handle deviations.





Maintain transaction records and MIS reports.

3. REGULATORY & COMPLIANCE

Ensure compliance with regulations of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions.

Stay updated with power trading policies, tariffs, and market rules.

4. COORDINATION

Liaise with internal teams (finance, legal, scheduling).

Coordinate with SLDC/RLDC for scheduling and dispatch.

5. REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong understanding of power trading and electricity markets.

Knowledge of short-term, day-ahead, and real-time markets.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
