Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for pipe routing and layout design for heavy vehicle applications.
- Develop and maintain 3D models of piping/routing components and create engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
- Prepare and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping and routing components.
- Release and manage BOM and design data through PLM tools.
- Coordinate regularly with engineering colleagues for design discussions, technical clarifications, and reviews.
- Participate in design reviews, vehicle build audits, and build-related activities.
- Ensure routing designs meet required design, packaging, manufacturing, and vehicle integration requirements.
- Review design changes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely implementation.
- Support issue identification and resolution during vehicle build and validation activities.

Technical Skills





- Strong hands-on experience in Piping & Routing Design.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX / NX CAD.
- Working knowledge of PLM tools and engineering data release processes.
- Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation.
- Positive understanding of BOM preparation and management.
- Experience in automotive/vehicle design and build audit activities.

Desired Profile

- 4+ years of relevant experience in piping/routing or automotive design.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional and international engineering teams.
- Candidates with experience in commercial vehicle/automotive piping and routing design will be preferred.
