WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Define and execute the vision of the Launch and Recovery Vehicle power system from concept to production. This includes power generation, regulation, distribution, power quality, control, etc.
Design, develop, and integrate state-of-the-art high-power systems tailored for optimal performance and reliability in harsh environments
Guide teammates toward appropriate custom power electronic designs
Enable an uninterruptible power system
Make vs. buy trade studies. Select, test, and integrate modules for use in the aircraft
Ensure system performance and reliability are met through rigorous verification
Debug complex problems related to the electrical design, environmental, manufacturing, etc.
Help build the team and lead multiple engineers dedicated to the power system design
Drive a cross-functional team to execute the top-level architecture
Provide mentorship, design review, and program execution leadership
Work in a fast-paced environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Power system design experience on a large vehicle, aircraft, or an equivalent power system (rocket, satellite, submarine, etc.)
10+ years relevant experience




Have delivered power system and power electronic products to market
Proficient with electrical engineering development tools, simulation, and test equipment
Strong technical fundamentals and analysis
$216,000 - $325,000 a year
Full time regular employee offer package:
Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee offer package:
Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
