Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Manual Testing with strong expertise in manual testing, API testing, database validation, and defect management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications and should be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
- Test web and mobile applications across different functionalities and user flows.
- Perform REST API testing using Postman.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira/Confluence.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Conduct retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare test execution reports and maintain QA/testing documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support release activities.




- Ensure application quality and adherence to defined testing standards.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing / QA.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing.
- Good working knowledge of Postman.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar defect tracking tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience in testing Web and Mobile Applications.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of API automation or scripting.

Education

B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Candidates

- Candidates with 3+ years of relevant Manual QA/Testing experience.
- Candidates with strong Postman/API + SQL experience will be preferred.
- Immediate Joiners / Short Notice candidates preferred.
