As a Chief Happiness Officer, you will be part of the People & Culture Team! You will lead our People Operations and Engineer Happiness initiatives. Your role involves crafting, implementing and upholding policies and processes that resonate with our values. You'll manage multiple engineering teams, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction. Additionally, you'll drive efforts to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of our People function. This entails establishing and upholding organizational policies, while also offering strategic counsel to senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

Manage Engineering Team

- Partner with Managers and leadership to plan team growth, structure and hiring priorities.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to attract and onboard engineers who fit both the work and the culture.
- Design onboarding that gets new engineers productive, connected and confident from week one.

Make engagement and retention your mission

- Own the engineer experience end to end from first day to career milestones.
- Build engagement, recognition, wellbeing and culture initiatives that engineers genuinely value.
- Track early warning signs of attrition through stay interviews,



pulse surveys and people data and act to retain the talent.
- Create clear growth paths, career conversations and development opportunities for the team.

Partner with Partner Success to deliver value

- Collaborate with the Partner Success Manager to align team capacity, skills and stability with business and delivery needs.
- Leverage feedback from stakeholders to drive employee recognition, development initiatives, and team planning.
- Ensure team continuity and smooth transitions to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for stakeholders.

People Operations & Performance Management

- Run performance cycles, probation reviews, promotions, PIPs and rewards & recognition with fairness and transparency.
- Use people analytics on engagement, retention and performance to give leadership clear, actionable insights.
- Build scalable People & Culture policies and processes that grow with the team.

Skills & Competencies

- 7-8 years of HR experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven success improving engagement and retention with results you can point to.
- Experience building or scaling team, especially in growing or early-stage environments.




- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with client / partner facing roles.
- Soild grounding in the employee lifecycle dashboards, performance management and employee relations.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms like Keka, SAP SuccessFactors, greytHR or similar.

Nice to Have

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or a related field.
- Experience working with international teams or global partners.
