Role Description The Baker role at Megham Chocolate is a full-time, on-site position based in Vijayawada. The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including breads, cookies, pastries, and chocolate-based items, following established recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring baking times and temperatures, and ensuring products meet presentation and taste expectations. The Baker maintains a clean, organized workstation, adheres to food safety and hygiene guidelines, and assists with inventory of ingredients and supplies.



This role also involves collaborating with the team on new product ideas and supporting peak production times as needed.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in Bakery operations and Baking, with practical experience in a professional or commercial kitchen.
- Strong Food Preparation skills, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients safely and efficiently.
- Ability to produce high-quality Cookies and Bread with consistent taste, texture, and appearance.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by bakery operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in a quick-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a bakery or pastry environment; formal culinary or baking training is an advantage.
