Job Summary

We are looking for a Freight Forwarding Executive to coordinate import and export shipments and ensure smooth movement of cargo from origin to destination. The candidate will coordinate with customers, airlines/shipping lines, transporters, customs, warehouses, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle import and export shipment coordination.
- Prepare and verify shipping and freight forwarding documents.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, CHA/customs teams, and warehouses.
- Follow up on shipment bookings, pickup, delivery, and cargo movement.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
- Coordinate for customs clearance, documentation, and shipment release.
- Maintain shipment records, invoices, delivery documents, and other operational files.
- Coordinate with transporters for pickup and delivery of cargo.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
- Ensure shipments are handled within the required timelines.
- Resolve basic shipment-related issues and coordinate with the concerned teams.




- Perform other logistics and freight-forwarding activities as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- Freshers can apply; experience in freight forwarding, logistics, import/export, or cargo operations will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics processes.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple shipments.
- Knowledge of English is required; Kannada/Hindi/Tamil will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates from Logistics, Freight Forwarding, CHA, Customs, Cargo, or Shipping backgrounds are preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
- Candidates residing near the office/location are preferred.
