Job Summary

BMI Cables Pvt. Ltd., a leading wires and cables manufacturer, is looking for an Internal Auditor to review our financial records, internal controls and compliance processes. The role reports to the Finance/Accounts head and works closely with the management and accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits of accounts, purchase, sales, inventory, stores and dispatch, and other departments.
- Check vouchers, ledgers, bank reconciliations and day-to-day accounting entries for accuracy.
- Verify stock, fixed assets and inventory records against books.
- Review compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF/ESIC and other applicable laws.
- Identify errors, control gaps, irregularities and risks, and suggest corrective action.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit observations and recommendations.
- Support statutory,



tax and external audits by providing the required data and reconciliations.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent. CA Inter, CA or CMA qualification is an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in internal audit or accounts, preferably working under a Chartered Accountant or in a CA firm.
- Strong knowledge of accountancy, including book-keeping, financial statements and reconciliations.
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS and Income Tax provisions.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
- Good analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week and be available in the office.
