CADLETE Designs is looking for a Mechanical / Product Design Intern to work on real-world product development projects. The role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, 3D CAD, product development, prototyping, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and mechanical designs.
- Develop 2D engineering drawings and documentation.
- Work on product components, assemblies, and mechanisms.
- Assist with product design and concept development.
- Support prototyping and testing.
- Make design modifications based on testing and engineering feedback.
- Assist with DFM and manufacturing considerations.
- Work with materials, fasteners, hardware, and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on ongoing projects.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or Fusion 360 is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving and design skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on real-world products.
Valuable to Have
- Knowledge of DFM and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, or 3D printing.
- Experience with prototyping or personal product design projects.
- Knowledge of KeyShot or other rendering software.
Eligibility
- Pursuing a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with academic, personal, or portfolio projects are preferred.
