Role Purpose

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Repair & Maintenance to lead the upkeep, servicing, and structural reliability of our commercial facilities, central production kitchens, and retail outlets. This role focuses entirely on executing proactive maintenance strategies, reducing emergency downtime, and maximizing asset longevity. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level vendor SLAs and on-the-ground technical execution to ensure seamless daily business operations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Operations & Maintenance Execution

· Minimize operational downtime across all kitchens, storefronts, and facilities by executing a zero-disruption maintenance strategy.

· Standardise preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for critical equipment, including HVAC, commercial refrigeration, heavy electrical systems, plumbing, and baking machinery.

· Establish rapid-response protocols for emergency breakdowns, ensuring transparent communication, safety compliance, and minimal impact on revenue.

2. Vendor & SLA Performance

· Onboard and manage a reliable network of external contractors, technical specialists, and service agencies.

· Enforce strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs), tracking turnaround times (TAT) and quality benchmarks to hold partners accountable.

· Negotiate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and material procurement to drive cost efficiency without sacrificing repair quality.

3. Asset Management & Tracking





· Own the Master Asset Register, tracking the lifecycle, maintenance logs, and breakdown histories of all equipment.

· Optimize spare parts inventory to safeguard critical operations against sudden supply chain disruptions.

· Audit facilities regularly to reduce premature equipment failures, asset misuse, and wear-and-tear costs.

4. Safety, Compliance & Leadership

· Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations, national building codes, fire safety mandates, and health standards.

· Lead and upskill the internal facilities team, mentoring technicians to handle advanced technical troubleshooting.

· Control the annual R&M; budget, closely tracking operational expenses and initiating cost-saving engineering projects.

Candidate Profile

Required Competencies

· Technical Mastery: In-depth working knowledge of heavy-duty industrial electrical systems, HVAC units, commercial cold chains, and commercial food production lines.

· Vendor & Contract Management: Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and enforcing AMCs and performance-based SLAs.

· Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or modern facility management software.

· Crisis Leadership: Strong problem-solving skills under pressure with the ability to coordinate field logistics across multiple geographic hubs.

Experience & Education

· Experience: 8 to 12 years of core technical experience in facility maintenance, preferably within multi-unit retail, QSR, food processing, or hospitality.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a highly relevant technical discipline.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
