Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud services, TypeScript, and modern backend application development. The role involves designing and developing scalable, secure, and resilient backend services, integrating Azure platform capabilities, and building cloud-native solutions that support enterprise-scale workloads. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with deep knowledge of Azure APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services using TypeScript and NestJS. Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices leveraging Azure-native services. Integrate Azure Resource Manager (ARM) APIs for provisioning, monitoring, governance, and management of Azure resources. Develop solutions utilizing Azure Compute, Azure Monitor, Azure Cost Management, Azure Identity, and related Azure SDKs. Implement asynchronous and event-driven processing using BullMQ, Redis, queues, and messaging patterns. Design fault-tolerant systems using idempotency, retry, circuit-breaker, and resiliency patterns. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations for high-performance applications. Implement authentication and authorization using Azure Entra ID, Managed Identity, OAuth, and RBAC. Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and frontend developers to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions. Ensure application observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and performance optimization.



Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for critical incidents. Contribute to engineering standards, coding best practices, and technical documentation.

Skill Requirements

: 5-8+ years of experience in backend application development and cloud-native engineering. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS framework. Hands-on experience with dependency injection, middleware, guards, interceptors, and modular architecture in NestJS. Deep understanding of Azure SDKs, including: Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Azure Compute Azure Monitor Azure Cost Management Azure Identity Azure Virtual Desktop management APIs Strong experience with Azure authentication mechanisms, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and Azure RBAC. Expertise in Redis and BullMQ for queue processing and distributed workloads. Solid proficiency in relational databases and raw SQL query optimization. Experience designing and building high-throughput, highly available distributed applications. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices patterns. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps practices.

Other Requirements

Experience with Azure Container Apps, AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform. Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture and management. Experience with PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, or other cloud-native databases. Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Azure Service Bus and Event Grid. Experience implementing application telemetry using Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security best practices. Exposure to FinOps, cloud governance, and Azure cost optimization initiatives. Microsoft Azure Developer (AZ-204) or Azure Solutions Architect certifications preferred.
