We are looking for a Calibration Engineer responsible for managing calibration activities, maintaining measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy of equipment, and maintaining calibration records as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute calibration of measuring instruments and equipment.
- Maintain calibration schedules, records, and certificates.
- Ensure all instruments are calibrated within the required frequency.
- Coordinate with external calibration agencies/laboratories.
- Identify and handle out-of-calibration instruments.
- Maintain calibration master lists and equipment history.
- Perform verification and inspection of measuring instruments.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and calibration procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of calibration activities.
- Required Skills
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and measuring instruments.Preferred Candidate
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering / automotive industries will be preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in calibration and measuring instruments are encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Gauges, Multimeter, etc.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / quality systems.
- Positive documentation and record-keeping skills.
- MS Excel and basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
