- Advanced Trauma Resuscitation: Lead the initial stabilization of patients presenting with massive hemorrhage, multi-system trauma, acute respiratory failure, or cardiac arrest.
- Emergency Procedures: Perform life-saving interventions under extreme time constraints, including rapid sequence intubation (RSI), chest tube insertion, central venous line placement, and focused assessment with sonography for trauma (RAPID scans).
- Trauma Team Leadership: Direct a multidisciplinary team of emergency nurses, respiratory therapists, and technicians while coordinating immediate interventions with Trauma Surgeons and critical care specialists.
- Rapid Triage & Diagnostics: Interpret complex imaging (CT scans, X-rays) and laboratory results rapidly to formulate diagnostic and immediate surgical or ICU disposition strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Education: MBBS with post-graduate qualification in Emergency Medicine (MD, DNB, or Master of Emergency Medicine / MEM).




- Certifications: Active medical council registration alongside advanced life-support credentials, strictly including ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5+ years of dedicated clinical experience within a high-acuity emergency department or established trauma center.
