- Journal Entries & Ledgers: Log daily financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, invoices, and payroll, into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
- Bank Reconciliation: Match bank account balances against general ledger records to identify discrepancies, un-presented checks, or unauthorized charges.
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Issue invoices to customers, track overdue payments, and process timely vendor or supplier payouts.
- Preparation of Statements: Compile core financial reports—Income Statement (P&L;), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement—on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual operational spending against the budgeted targets and report reasons for financial overruns or savings to management.
- Financial Health Monitoring: Track key metrics like working capital,



profit margins, and liquidity to assess business stability.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal checks to detect potential accounting errors, mismanagement, or fraudulent activities.
- External Audit Coordination: Prepare financial schedules, balance ledgers, and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during statutory reviews.
- Data Security & Controls: Implement authorization checks and secure data backups to protect confidential financial records.
