Manufacturing Process Leadership
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing process setup for AIO products during NPI and mass production phases.
- Ensure production line readiness and manufacturing capability to support launch schedules and volume ramp-up.
- Collaborate with Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME), ODM partners, Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to establish optimized manufacturing processes.
Tooling, Jigs Fixture Development
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, and process aids in alignment with GME and ODM requirements.
- Evaluate tooling effectiveness and drive improvements to enhance product quality, throughput, and operator efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ODM teams to ensure timely development and deployment of manufacturing equipment.
Process Development Equipment Commissioning
- Develop and optimize assembly processes, manufacturing workflows, and production standards.
- Lead equipment installation, qualification, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
- Establish process controls and operating procedures to ensure consistent manufacturing performance.
Validation Capability Studies
- Plan and execute process validation activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and capability studies.
- Analyze process performance and manufacturing data to ensure process stability and capability requirements are achieved.
- Support pilot builds, engineering builds, and production trials to validate manufacturing readiness.
Production Support Issue Resolution
- Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing process issues during NPI and mass production.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
- Work closely with Quality and Operations teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cycle time, and manufacturing cost.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and process optimization projects.
- Evaluate opportunities for automation and digitalization to enhance operational performance.
- Support ongoing product and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, CMI, NPI, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting product launches and mass production in electronics, PC, consumer electronics, or EMS industries.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing process development, tooling, fixture design, and equipment commissioning.
- Experience in process validation, capability analysis, and statistical problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, and process control methodologies.
- Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AIO PCs, Desktop PCs, Notebooks, or related electronic products.
- Knowledge of automation systems and production line optimization.
- Exposure to ODM/JDM manufacturing environments and global product development teams.
- Green Belt or Lean certification is an added advantage
