AUTOMATION ENGINEER

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve machine and process automation systems. The candidate will help improve productivity, reduce machine breakdowns, optimize cycle time, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs and HMI systems.
- Identify and implement machine and process automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, sensor, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 1S–5S practices.
- Reduce machine cycle time, manufacturing lead time, and process delays.
- Install, troubleshoot, and support calibration of industrial sensors and instrumentation.
- Read and interpret electrical control circuits, wiring diagrams, and basic mechanical drawings.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with machine manufacturers, suppliers, and system integrators.
- Support automation projects, machine modifications, trials, commissioning, and handover.




- Analyze recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.

Required Experience

1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in industrial automation, machine maintenance, or a manufacturing workplace.

Required Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Effective teamwork and supplier coordination
- Willingness to learn new automation technologies- Ability to work under production and machine-breakdown pressure.
