Job Description:

Key Responsibilities for Chemical Operator :

- Operate and monitor chemical process equipment and production systems.
- Prepare, handle, and dose chemicals as per process requirements and SOPs.
- Monitor process parameters and maintain production quality standards.
- Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain production records, logbooks, and shift reports.
- Identify process abnormalities and coordinate with maintenance teams for corrective actions.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of chemicals.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of chemical processes and plant operations.
- Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing and quality control practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Positive documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of EHS, IMS, and ISO requirements will be an added advantage.
