MEP, Electrical and S&T; - CAD technician for looking to hire in Mumbai location one of the ongoing project.

The CAD Technician will manage all CAD activities for large‑scale underground tunnel projects such as highways, expressways, rail lines, metro corridors, and track alignments. This role is responsible for establishing drafting standards, managing complex design data, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables aligned with international engineering standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing CAD environments for Indian projects, solid coordination skills, and the ability to lead digital engineering workflows across dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, update, and maintain 2D CAD drawings related to road tunnel works.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, and relevant codes.
- Coordinate drawings with multi-disciplinary teams to avoid clashes and discrepancies.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and document control.




- Support engineers during design development, approvals, and construction stages.

Electrical Works

• Prepare layouts for:

• Power distribution systems

• Lighting (normal & emergency)

• Cable routing and earthing systems

• Assist in preparing single-line diagrams and installation details.

MEP Works

• Draft layouts and details for:

• Ventilation systems (jet fans, axial fans, ducting)

• Firefighting systems (hydrants, sprinklers, suppression systems)

• Plumbing and drainage systems

• Coordinate MEP drawings with civil and electrical layouts.

S&T;

• Prepare drawings for:

• Tunnel control systems

• SCADA, CCTV, VMS, PA, and emergency communication systems

• Cable routing, equipment rooms, and system interfaces

• Assist in coordination between S&T;, electrical, and civil elements
