About the Role

Sheth Anandji Kalyanji Trust is looking for a responsible, experienced, and service-oriented Assistant Manager to support the overall administration, operations, and management of the Trust and its Jain Tirth activities.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, supervising staff, managing facilities, coordinating religious activities and events, handling vendors, maintaining records, and supporting the Trust Management/Trustees in ensuring smooth and disciplined operations.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Jain Tirth, Derasar, Jain Trust, religious institutions, or similar organizations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tirth & Administration Management

• Assist in the overall day-to-day administration and management of the Jain Tirth.

• Ensure smooth functioning of Tirth facilities and related activities.

• Implement policies, procedures, and instructions issued by the Trust Management.

• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the premises.

• Coordinate with different departments and teams for smooth operations.

2. Staff Management & Supervision

• Supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance, office, and other support staff.

• Prepare and monitor staff duty schedules and work allocation.

• Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance of employees.

• Coordinate recruitment requirements with the Trust Management.

• Guide and support staff in their day-to-day responsibilities.

• Address routine staff-related issues and escalate important matters to management.

3. Jain Religious Activities & Events

• Coordinate arrangements for Puja, Prakshal, Aangi, religious ceremonies, festivals, and other Jain activities.

• Ensure proper arrangements for devotees and visitors during special occasions.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, cleanliness, security, and other requirements for religious events.

• Ensure that religious activities are conducted smoothly as per Trust guidelines.

4. Facility & Maintenance Management

• Monitor the overall condition and maintenance of Tirth premises.





• Coordinate electrical, plumbing, civil, housekeeping, security, and other maintenance requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors and service providers.

• Follow up on pending maintenance work and ensure timely completion.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and expenses.

5. Vendor & Purchase Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

• Obtain quotations where required and coordinate the purchase of approved materials.

• Monitor the availability of housekeeping, puja, office, maintenance, and other essential materials.

• Maintain proper inventory and stock records.

• Ensure purchases are made as per Trust procedures and approvals.

6. Records & Reporting

• Maintain daily operational records, registers, attendance records, inventory records, and other documentation.

• Prepare regular reports for Trust Management.

• Maintain records of events, maintenance activities, purchases, and vendor services.

• Prepare basic MIS reports using MS Excel.

• Ensure proper filing and documentation of important records.

7. Devotee & Visitor Coordination

• Maintain a courteous and respectful relationship with devotees, visitors, donors, and other stakeholders.

• Assist visitors with their requirements and coordinate with concerned staff.

• Handle routine queries and complaints professionally.

• Escalate important matters to the authorized Trust representative.

8. Coordination with Trust Management

• Regularly update Trustees/Trust Management regarding operational matters.

• Report important issues relating to staff, maintenance, security, finance, vendors, or facilities.

• Implement instructions received from the Trust Management.

• Participate in meetings and provide operational updates when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, facility management, Tirth management, Derasar, Jain Trust, religious institution, or similar organization.





• Prior experience in Jain Tirth / Derasar / Jain Trust management will be highly preferred.

• Strong staff supervision and team coordination skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

• Basic knowledge of Gujarati typing and email communication will be preferred.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.

• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, staff, devotees, and Trust representatives.

• Robust sense of responsibility, discipline, honesty, and confidentiality.

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work independently.

• Willingness to work during religious festivals, special events, and as per Tirth operational requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be mature, responsible, disciplined, trustworthy, and service-oriented, with practical experience in managing people and day-to-day operations.

Candidates who have previously worked with Jain Tirths, Derasars, Jain Trusts, religious institutions, or charitable organizations will be given preference.

Compensation

₹20,000 - ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and overall suitability for the position.

Reporting

The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Trust Management / Authorized Trustee / Senior Administrative Officer.

Important Note

The candidate should be comfortable working in a religious and community-oriented environment and should demonstrate respect for Jain traditions, values, and practices.
